Summer was a favorite for her sweet temperament and strong build. She has a lot of the qualities we love and it’s exciting to seem them appear in her progeny. While she was a slow maturing girl, she continued to hold her beauty into old age.
Summer enjoyed agility even as a senior, LOVED showing in conformation (though she was not eligible for AKC as she was spayed), and had a little too much fun in Rally.
She was intensely loyal, and slow to warm up to some new people. She was sometimes vocal when greeting new people and deciding whether to approach sooner or later, but she was not aggressive in the least. Her treatment of children was gentle and patient.
