Esther was a beautiful girl, with a graceful long neck, sweet expression, and a glorious plushy coat.  She retired fairly young; she wasn’t well suited to living in a pack (she didn’t insist on attention if it meant contending with the others) and didn’t go far in the show ring (she won a few good sized minor shows, despite giving the appearance of having a gay tail).  However, her contribution as the first mother at Woodruff is beyond compare.  Her progeny includes Summer, Juna, Charlie, Jackie, Dakota...
